Making Pittsburgh a healthier, safer, more connected, artistic and equitable place for all is hard work. Steel City Codefest wants to help nonprofits and civic organizations serve their community more efficiently through the implementation of easy-to-use technology solutions. The series, part of the overall Codefest programming, invites individuals from local nonprofits, government agencies, or social good programs to think through challenges that could be helped or solved through technology.
I’m looking forward to volunteering as a panelist on Wednesday, January 18 at the Carnegie Library in the Northside. Like last year, I and the other panelists will listen to organizations present their technology challenges and will make suggestions about possible solutions (if they exist). If you can stump us, your challenge stands a good chance in being chosen for custom app development during the 2017 Codefest!
